Rotary PSA Festival 2019 matagumpay na idinaos
Nagpamalas ng galing ang amateur filmmakers at mga estudyante mula sa iba’t ibang paaralang Sekondarya at Kolehiyo sa bansa sa katatapos lamang na 3rd Rotary Public Service Announcement Festival o Rotary PSA Festival 2019.
Ginawaran ng parangal ng Rotary Club of Circuit Makati (RCCM) sa pangunguna ni President Lyda H. Lunar ang mga nagwagi sa PSA festival na isang 30-second video making contest.
Ang PSA ng mga kalahok ay batay sa “Areas of Focus” ng Rotary International na:
1. Basic Education and Literacy
2. Maternal and Child Health
3. Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution
4. Disease Prevention and Treatment
5. Water and Sanitation
6. Economic and Community Development
Sa Gala and Awards Night na ginanap sa Spotlight Theater, Circuit Makati, inanunsyo ang mga nagwagi sa festival.
Ang mga nagwagi sa Student Category ay ang:
– 1st Place – ENDUKASYON ng AFORCE mula sa Technological Institute of the Philippines / Area of Focus: Basic Education and Literacy
– 2nd Place – PABILI PO ni Izela Viviene Alberto Salterio mula sa Regional Lead School for the Arts sa Agono, Rizal / Area of Focus: Basic Education and Literacy
– 3rd Place – VACCINATE YOUR CHILD ni/ng Marck Ryan E. Cidro / Teatro Komunikado Production mula sa Polytechnic University of the Philippines / Area of Focus: Disease Prevention & Treatment
Narito naman ang mga nanalo sa Amateur Category:
1st Place ALAMOKUNGPAANO ni Christian Mendoza ng Pansamantagal Production
2nd Place AGRICULTURE: KEY TO SAVE OUR FUTURE ni Joselito G. Cunanan, Jr.
3rd Place PASA PASA ni Lara Mae Temio
Kabilang sa mga hurado sa Rotary PSA Festival 2019 ay ang beteranong mamamahayag at filmmaker na si Arlyn Dela Cruz, Past District Governor Edna Sutter, Governor Elect Maria Concepcion Camacho, Charter President Marissa Del Mar, stage actress Mae Paner at iba pa.
Samantala, bahagi din ng programa ang pag-anunsyo sa video entry winners ng The RCCM Rovic Canono Human Rights Awards na ibinibigay bilang pagkilala kay Past President Rovic Canono dahil sa adbokasiya nito sa karapatang pantao.

Binigyan din ng appreciation award si Sutter dahil sa suporta nito sa Rotary PSA Festival simula sa Gala Night noong 2016.
Sa kanya namang talumpati, hinamon ni District Governor Ador Tolentino District Governor Ador
Tolentino ang Rotary Club of Circuit Makati na ipagpatuloy ang Rotary PSA Festival dahil itinataas nito ang kamalayan ng mga kabataang Filipino sa adhikain ng Rotary International.
