LOOK: DOTr, nag-inspeksyon sa New Clark City Sports Complex para sa SEA Games

Nag-inspeksyon ang ilang opisyal ng gobyerno sa New Clark City Sports Complex, araw ng Huwebes.

Pinangunahan ni Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade ang inspeksyon kasama sina Presidential Adviser for Flagship Programs and Projects at BCDA President at CEO Secretary Vivencio Dizon, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano, Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez at DPWH Secretary Mark Villar.

Layon ng inspeksyon na matiyak na magiging maayos ang pagdaraos ng nalalapit na 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.

Unang binisita ng mga opisyal ang Athletes’ Village kung saan pansamantalang mamamalagi ang mga atleta, opisyal at international volunteers para sa SEA Games.

Mayroon itong 525 kwarto, gym amenities, kitchen at dining areas, conference rooms, at iba pang recreational facilities.

Siniyasat din ang 2,000-seater Aquatics Center para sa swimming at diving competitions.

Pinuntahan din ng mga opisyal ang pitong palapag na government building para sa operasyon patungkol sa disaster risk reduction and management.

Huling ininspeksyon ang 20,000-seater Athletics Stadium na mayroong nine-lane 400-meter track at field oval, at six-lane warm up track.

Samantala, inanunsiyo rin ni Tugade na sa pamamagitan ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), binuksan ang aplikasyon para sa special permits ng point-to-point buses para makabiyahe sa mga venue ng SEA Games.

Bubuksan ang mga espesyal na ruta para ma-accommodate ang mga laro sa Subic, Clark at Metro Manila.

Para sa mga bus na may aprubadong northbound routes, kailangang makakuha ng special permit sa ruta patungong Philippine Arena para sa pagbubukas ng Sea Games sa November 30.
