Human trafficker arestado sa Bohol

Nailigtas ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang apat na babae mula sa isang human trafficker sa Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Martes ng hapon.

Ayon kay Atty. Glenn Damasing, agent ng NBI-Bohol, edad 26, 27, 30 at 40 ang mga babae.

Ibinubugaw umano ang mga ito sa halagang P3,500 hanggang P4,000.

Sa operasyong ikinasa sa loob ng isang resort, naaresto ang umano’y bugaw na si Rosalina Angalot, 49 anyos.

Dinala sa NBI Office ang mga nailigtas na babae at sumailalim sa interview ni Cerina Sia, officer-in-charge ng City Social Welfare and Development Office.

Ayon kay alyas ‘Maria’, nakipag-ugnayan sa kanila si Angalot at inalok ng P3,000.

Mariing pinabulaanan ng suspek ang mga akusasyon at iginiit na kaibigan niya ang apat na babae.

Mahaharap si Angalot sa kasong paglabag sa Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012.
