Duterte walang tiwala kay Robredo, hindi itatalaga sa Gabinete
Hindi itatalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Vice President Leni Robredo sa Gabinete kahit ginawa itong anti-drug czar o co-chair ng Inter-Agency committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD).
Sa press conference sa Malacañang, Martes ng gabi, inihayag ng pangulo na hindi niya gusto ang pagiging madaldal ni Robredo.
“Ang problema ko kay Robredo… Marami na siyang pinagsasabi. If that is the way her mouth behaves there can be no position for her,” ani Duterte.
Buhat nang maupo bilang co-chair ng ICAD, marami nang pulong na ginawa si Robredo sa iba’t ibang organisasyong kritikal sa drug war ng gobyerno.
Dahil dito, hindi niya anya mapagkakatiwalaan ang bise na dumalo ng Cabinet meetings.
Wala rin anya siyang tiwala kay Robredo dahil bukod sa pagiging miyembro ng oposiyon ay hindi niya ito kilala.
“Ang problema dito, ganito. I cannot trust her not only because she is with the opposition. I do not trust her because I do not know her,” ayon kay Duterte.
Ayon sa pangulo, hindi niya ilalagay sa alanganin ang bansa lalo na ang classified records o mga sensitibong bagay.
“I said I deciced not to appoint her as a Cabinet member because I think I will jeopardize ‘yong situation, including classified records, which are secrets. Tawag diyan ay state secrets, including sensitive matters with our relations with China and the US,” ani Duterte.
Sa kabila nito, hindi naman tatanggalin ni Duterte si Robredo sa pagka-anti-illegal drug czar.
“I never said I was firing her. I said I would not appoint her as a Cabinet member,” dagdag ng pangulo.
Inatasan naman ng pangulo ang law enforcement agencies na ibigay kay Robredo ang impormasyong dapat lang nitong malaman at hindi ang mga classified info.
