Dalawang Indonesian Navy ships, dumating sa Pilipinas para sa goodwill visit

Dumating sa Pilipinas ang dalawang barko ng Indonesian Navy sa Pier 15, South Harbor sa Maynila, araw ng Lunes.

Ayon sa Philippine Navy, dumaong ang Kri Bung Tomo (357) at Kri Sultan Iskandar Muda (367) para sa apat na araw na goodwill visit sa bansa hanggang November 21.

Sinalubong ang Indonesian Navy, na pinangungunahan ni Capt. Amrin Rosihan, ni Sealift Amphibious Force commander, Commodore Ernesto Baldovino bilang representante ni Philippine Navy chief Vice Admiral Robert Empedrad.

Nakatakda namang magsagawa ng courtesy call si Rear Adm. I Nyoman Mandra M, Sc. kay Empedrad sa headquarters ng Philippine Navy sa Maynila.

Bahagi ng goodwill visit ang mga serye ng confidence building engagements sa pagitan ng Philippine Navy at Indonesian Navy kabilang ang reciprocal receptions, goodwill games, shipboard tour at pre-coordination meeting.

Maliban dito, magkakaroon din ng passing exercise (PASSEX) sa pagitan ng Philippine Navy at Indonesian Navy.
