Sumakabilang-buhay na ang biyuda ni JG Summit Holdings founding chairman John Gokongwei Jr. na si Elizabeth Yu Gokongwei, araw ng Sabado.

Kinumpirma ng anak nito na si Lance Gokongwei ang pagpanaw ni Elizabeth sa edad na 85.

Pumanaw si Elizabeth mahigit isang linggo matapos pumanaw si John.

Sinabi ni Lance na magiging pribado ang lamay sa mga kamag-anak at mga kaibigan.
