Permit to carry firearms sa ilang lugar, sinuspinde ng PNP para sa 30th SEA Games

Sinuspinde ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang permit to carry firearms outside of residence (PTCFOR) sa ilang lugar para sa 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.

Sa inilabas na memorandum na may petsang November 5, ipinag-utos ni PNP officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa na suspendihin ang PTCFOR sa mga lugar kung saan gaganapin ang SEA Games mula November 20 hanggang December 14.

Kabilang dito ang Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon at La Union.

Bahagi ito ng paghahanda ng PNP para matiyak ang maayos at ligtas na pagdaraos ng SEA Games para sa mga lokal at dayuhang atleta.

Maaari lamang magdala ng armas ang mga miyembro ng PNP, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at iba pang law enforcement agency.
