TINGNAN: Malacañang inilabas na ang listahan ng 2020 holidays
Maaari nang planuhin ngayon pa lang ang pagbabakasyon para sa susunod na taon.
Ito ay matapos ilabas ng Palasyo ng Malacañang Biyernes ng gabi ang Proclamation No. 845 na nagdedeklara sa Regular at Special Non-Working Holidays ng 2020.
Narito ang Regular Holidays:
January 1 – New Year’s Day
April 9 – Maundy Thursday and Araw ng Kagitingan
April 10 – Good Friday
May 1 – Labor Day
June 12 – Independence Day
August 31 – National Heroes Day
November 30 – Bonifacio Day
December 25 – Christmas Day
December 30 – Rizal Day
Ito naman ang Special Non-Working Days:
January 25 – Chinese New Year
February 25 – EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary
April 11 – Black Saturday
August 21 – Ninoy Aquino Day
November 1 – All Saints Day
December 8 – Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary
December 31 – Last Day of the Year
Additional Special Non-Working Days:
November 2 (All Souls Day)
December 24 (Christmas Eve)
Samantala, ayon sa Malacañang ang proklamasyon naman na magdedeklara sa Eidul Fitr at Eidul Adha ay ilalabas depende sa mga petsang ibibigay ng National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF).
Ito ay dahil nakadepende ang naturang mga holiday sa moon sighting.
Sasailalim sa agarang promulgasyon ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) ang guidelines para sa proklamasyon sa 2020 holidays.
