Walo arestado sa ilegal na operasyon ng Peryahan ng Bayan sa Cebu City
Arestado ang walong empleyado ng Peryahan ng Bayan na ilegal na pinatatakbo sa Cebu City.
Sinalakay ng mga tauhan ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) – Central Visayas (CIDG-7) ang “Best luck” at “Gemini” na kapwa hindi otorisdong outlets ng Peryahan ng Bayan ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
Ang walong empleyado ay kakasuhan ng paglabag sa Republic Act 9287 o an act increasing the penalties for illegal numbers games.
Kinilala ang mga suspek na sina Eljun Torena Fuentes, Gilbert Canete Balajula, Shiela Mae Villaruel Bacurnay, Carmela Empinado Tapic, Rosalie Nagngkil Lamban, Jasper Tonacao, Radel Mae Seno Bordario, at Lovely Faith Bacalla.
Ayon kay Police Major Ronald Allan Tolosa, assistant regional deputy chief ng CIDG-7, ang mga outlet na sinalakay ay sa barangays Lahug, Mabolo, Ramos, at Talamban.
Base sa impormasyon mula sa PCSO, hindi pa inaalis ang ban sa operasyon ng “Best Luck” at “Gemini”.
