State of emergency idineklara sa Venice dahil sa pagbaha na dulot ng high tide

Nagdeklara ng state of emergency ang gobyerno ng Italy sa Venice dahil sa nararanasang matinding pagbaha.

Nagpalipas ng gabi sa Venice si Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte para personal na makita ang sitwasyon nakaapekto na sa maraming bahay, gusali at establisyimento.

Ayon kay Venice Mayor Luigi Brugnaro, umabot na sa daan-daang milyong euro ang halaga ng pinsala ng pagbaha.

Umabot sa mahigit 6 feet ang tubig baha na ikalawa sa pinakamataas sa kasaysayan.

Maging ang St. Mark’s Basilica sa Venice ay hindi nakaligtas sa pinsala.
