2 miyembro ng Abu Sayyaf Group sumuko sa militar sa Zamboanga Sibugay
Sumuko sa tropa ng 44th Infantry Battalion sa Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay ang dalawang miyembro ng Abu Sayyaf Grouo (ASG) araw ng Huwebes.
Ayon kay 44IB Commander Lt. Col. Don Templonuevo, nakilala ang dalawa na sina alyas Jolo Usman at alyas Jul.
Residente ang dalawa ng Talipao, Jolo, Sulu at may operasyon sa ilalim ni Sibih Pisih, isang notoryus na lider ng ASG.
Gayunman, pinili umano nina Jolo Usman at Jul na magtago sa Zamboanga Sibugay simula 2016.
Isinuko rin ng dalawa ang kanilang garand rifles.
Patuloy namang hinihikayat ni 102 Brigade commander Col. Leonel Nicolas ang mga terorista na sumuko, magpasakop sa batas at maging produktibong mamamayan ng bansa.
“We continuously encourage terrorist groups and their supporters to surrender, return to the folds of the law, and become productive citizens of this country,” ani Nicolas.
