CDO chairman, co-founder Jose ‘Pepe’ Ong, pumanaw na
Pumanaw na sa edad na 78 ang chairman at co-founder ng CDO Foodsphere, Jose ‘Pepe’ Ong, araw ng Huwebes, November 14.
Inanunsyo ito ng meat processing company sa kanilang social media accounts.
Hindi sinabi ng CDO kung ano ang sanhi ng pagpanaw ni Ong.
Gayunman, mapayapa anila itong sumakabilang buhay.
Isinalarawan ng kumpanya ang kanilang ‘Boss Pepe’ bilang isang mapagmahal na ama sa kanyang pamilya at maging sa CDO.
Inspirasyon umano ang mga ideya at katatagan ni Ong sa trabaho.
“He was our coach, our rock — always inspiring us with his pioneering ideas, his passion and resilience; always there to remind us that nothing is impossible. He will forever be remembered with love and fondness,” ayon sa CDO.
Ang CDO ay itinatag ni Ong kasama ang kanyang asawa na si Corazon noong 1975 at gumawa ito ng pangalan sa Philippine food industry.
