Coast Guard nagsasagawa ng search and rescue operations sa nawawalang 13 mangingisda sa Bajo de Masinloc

Nagsasagawa n ang search and rescue operations ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa labingtatlong mangingisda na nawawala sa Bajo de Masinloc, Zambales.

Ang mga mangingisda ay sakay ng fishing boat na “FFB Three Sister” nang ito ay lumubog sa karagatang malapit sa Bajo de Masinloc.

Ipinadala na ng Coast Guard Station sa Bataan ang tatlong floating assets na BRP Tubbataha, BRP Capones, at BRP Boracay.

Nakaalis na rin mula sa Hangar ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) ang PCG Islander 251 patungo ng to Bajo de Masinloc, Zambales para magsagawa ng Aerial Search and Rescue.

Una nang nailigtas ang isang mangingisda na si Angelito Epetito Jr. ilang oras matapos matanggap ng coast guard ang ulat na lumubog ang barko.

Nakita si Epetito na palutang-lutang sa Bajo de Masinloc gamit ang container.

Ayon kay Epetito, lumubog ang FFB Three Sister matapos hampasin ng malalakas na alon dulot ng nagdaang bagyong Quiel noong November 7, 2019 dakong alas 3:00 ng madaling araw habang sila ay patungo sa Mariveles, Bataan galing Recto Bank.

Ayon kay Epetito, apat na araw siyang nagpalutang-lutang sa karagatan at hindi na niya nakita ang labingtatlong kasamahan.
