PAGCOR: Hiling na medical assistance dapat may referral mula Palasyo at authorized agencies
Nilinaw ng Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR) na tatanggap pa rin ito ng hiling para sa tulong pinansyal sa medikal na gastusin ng pasyente kung mayroong referral letters.
Ayon kay PAGCOR vice president for Corporate Social Responsibility Jimmy Bondoc, tatanggap pa rin sila ng aplikasyon para sa medical financial assistance kung ito ay inindorso ng Office of the President at ilang authorized na ahensya ng gobyerno.
Tatanggap din ang PAGCOR ng referral mula sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
Una nang inanunsyo ng PAGCOR na pansamantala nilang ititigil ang pamimigay ng financial assistance kasunod ng pamemeke ng mga dokumento ng isang mag-asawa na naaresto ng Manila Police District (MPD).
Arestado sina Agustin at Corazon Rebolledo sa entrapment operation matapos nilang pekein ang iba’t ibang mga pangalan ng mga pasyente at sakit.
Dahil dito ay lalong naghigpit ang ahensya sa pagsusuri ng mga dokumento para sa request na tulong pinansyal sa mga may-sakit.
