Drilon: “Build, Build, Build Project,” isang kabiguan
Para kay Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon, isang kabiguan ang “Build, Build, Build Project” ng gobyerno dahil siyam lamang sa 75 na programa ang nasimulang gawin.
Ayon kay Drilon, wala ng 3 taon ang termino ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte pero kaunti lamang ang aktuwal na konstruksyon.
“It is in actual construction where there is actual disbursement that would propel our economy. That’s why I’m interested because we started three years ago with 75 projects under our Build, Build, Build program. After over three years, only nine have actually commenced,” pahayag ng senador sa deliberasyon sa plenaryo ng panukalang P4.1 trillion 2020 national budget.
Pero sinabi ni Senator Sonny Angara, chairman ng Senate finance committee, base sa mga economic managers ng pamahalaan, 12 proyekto ang matatapos sa susunod na taon.
May dagdag pa anyang 17 projects sa 2021, 26 sa 2022 at 43 ang matatapos sa 2022.
Pero hindi masagot ng direkta ni Angara ang tanong ni Drilon kung anong mga proyekto ang matatapos sa susunod na taon at sa 2021.
Nais malaman ni Drilon kung ano sa 75 na mga proyekto ang hindi natuloy.
Naniniwala rin ang senador na walang mangyayari sa programa dahil malabnaw anya ang Build, Build, Build Projects.
