Malacañang nababahala sa pagdukot sa 11 Pinoy sa West Africa

Nagpahayag ng pagkabahala ang Palasyo ng Malacañang sa ulat ng ukol sa pagdukot sa 11 Pinoy seafarers sa West Africa.

Sa press briefing araw ng Martes, sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo na nakababahala ang mga insidente ng pagbihag.

Kasulukuyan na anya itong tinutugunan ni Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III.

“We are concerned about the kidnapping and (Labor) Secretary Bello is handling it,” ani Panelo.

Ang pahayag ng Palasyo ay matapos kumpirmahin ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) noong Lunes na dalawang Pinoy ang dinukot sa Togo.

Una nang may siyam na Pinoy ang binihag sa Benin noong nakaraang linggo.

Tiniyak na rin ng DFA na patuloy ang kanilang pakikipag-ugnayan sa embahada ng bansa sa Abuja ukol sa kaso ng kidnapping.
