3 buwang fishing ban sa bahagi ng Visayan Sea ipapatupad

Tatlong buwan na ipapatupad ang fishing ban sa bahagi ng Visayan Sea simula sa Biyernes, November 15.

Ayon sa Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources sa Central Visayas (BFAR-7), idineklara ang closed season hanggang February 15, 2020.

Dahil sa fishing ban ay bawal manguha ng sardinas, mackerel at iba pang uri ng isda sa susunod na tatlong buwan.

Layon ng hakbang na hayaang magpadami ang naturang mga isda.

Sakop ng fishing ban ang Bogo City at coastal towns ng San Remigio, Daanbantayan at Medellin.

Nasa bahagi rin ng Visayan Sea ang Bantayan Island na binubuo ng mga bayan ng Santa Fe, Bantayan at Madridejos.
