4 na biktima ng human trafficking, naharang sa NAIA

Naharang ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang apat na babaeng biktima ng human trafficking sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Ayon kay Grifton Medina, hepe ng BI port operations division, naharang ang apat na biktima sa departure area ng NAIA Terminal 3 na patungo sanang Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Ilegal aniyang na-recruit ang apat na biktima bilang household worker at driver sa Dubai.

Ayon naman kay Ma. Bernadette Catipay, pinuno ng BI NAIA 3 travel control and enforcement unit (TCEU), isang babaeng courier ang nagbigay sa kanilang ng mga pekeng documento sa isang convenience store sa NAIA bago pumasok sa immigration area.

Inamin din ng apat na ibibigay umano ang kanilang UAE visas at plane ticket paputang Dubai pagkadating sa Malaysia.

Dinala ang apat sa Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking para sa asistihan at mas malalim na imbestigasyon.
