P4B kakailanganin sa rehabilitation, rebuilding efforts sa quake-hit areas sa Mindanao

Mangangailangan ang gobyerno ng nasa P4 bilyong pondo para maibalik sa normal ang buhay sa mga lalawigan sa Mindanao na naapektuhan ng magkakasunod na lindol.

Sa press briefing araw ng Huwebes, sinabi ni National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) executive director Ricardo Jalad na estimate pa lamang ang P4 bilyon.

Malalaman ang eksaktong halaga matapos ang isinasagawang serye ng assessment.

Magugunitang tatlong malalakas na lindol ang yumanig sa Mindanao noong Oktubre kung saan hindi bababa sa 28 ang nasawi at nasugatan ang higit 400.

Higit 230,000 katao naman ang naapektuhan ng lindol kung saan nasa 40,000 ang namamalagi sa 47 evacuation centers habang 43,000 naman ang nanirahan muna sa mga kaanak.

Sinabi naman ni Jalad na ginagawa ng gobyerno ang lahat para bigyan ng ayuda ang quake victims.
