60 sakay ng tumaob na bangkay sa Sibonga, nailigtas ng PCG

Nailigtas ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang mahigit 60 katao makaraang tumaob ang sasakyang-pandagat sa Cebu City, Huwebes ng umaga.

Ayon sa PCG-Central Visayas, 53 pasahero at pitong crew members ang sakay ng tumaob ang M/V Siargao Princess dahil sa lakas ng alon sa bahagi ng Sibonga pasado 11:00 ng umaga.

Umalis ang bangka sa bayan ng Loon sa Bohol bandang 9:30 ng umaga.

Nagkasa ng search and rescue operations sa PCG katuwang ang Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), PNP Maritime, lokal na pamahalaan at Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (MDRRMC) ng Carcar, Argao at Sibonga

Dinala ang mga nailigtas na pasahero sa Carcar City District Hospital.
