IRR ng Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act of 2019, hinahanap ni Sen. Gordon sa LTO

Kinalampag na ni Senator Richard Gordon ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) para ilabas na ang Implementing Rules and Regulation o IRR ng Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act of 2019.

Kasunod ito nang kanyang pagkondena sa pagpatay ng riding-in-tandem criminals sa babaeng opisyal ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) sa Maynila, isang Ilocos Sur judge sa La Union at pulis sa Quezon City.

Banggit ng senador, simula noong 2010 ay umabot na sa 20,000 ang biktima ng riding-in-tandem assasins.

Base naman sa datos ng PNP, 13,062 o 46 porsiyento ng 28,409 motorcycle riding crimes na naitala noong 2010 hanggang 2017 ay insidente ng pamamaril.

Hinahanap ni Gordon ang IRR dahil aniya patuloy na namamayagpag ang motorcycle riding crimes.

Aniya, kailangan nang ipatupad ang batas para matigil na ang mga krimen dahil layon ng iniakda niyang batas na protektahan ang sambayanan.

Pinalagan ng grupo ng mga rider ang batas dahil kailangan na nilang maglagay ng malaking plaka para madaling mabasa o matandaan.
