VP Leni wala sa Cabinet meeting ilang oras matapos italaga bilang drug czar
Hindi dumalo si Vice President Leni Robredo sa 43rd Cabinet meeting sa Malacañang Miyerkules ng gabi.
Naganap ang Cabinet meeting ilang oras lamang matapos ang kanyang pagtanggap sa posisyong co-chairman ng inter-agency committee on anti-illegal drugs (ICAD).
Ang pagtanggap ni Robredo sa posisyon ay nagbigay-daan para maging miyembro ulit siya ng gabinete ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Matatandaang nagbitiw ang bise presidente noong 2016 bilang Housing secretary bunsod ng pagbabawal ni Duterte na dumalo siya sa Cabinet meeting.
Una nang sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo na ‘welcome’ si Robredo na dumalo sa Cabinet meeting kagabi matapos ang kanyang panibagong appointment.
“She’s welcome. We have a Cabinet meeting today she can even join us. It goes without saying that you’re a member of the Cabinet then you are free to come to join us. But if she would want an invitation, well we can always give it to her,” ayon kay Panelo.
