P6.8M halaga ng shabu, nasabat sa Quezon City

Nasamsam ang milyun-milyong halaga ng ilegal na droga sa buy-bust operation sa Quezon City, Miyerkules ng gabi.

Ayon sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-National Capital Region (PDEA-NCR), isinagawa ang operasyon sa isang shopping mall sa EDSA bandang 6:45 ng gabi.

Nagresulta rin ang operasyon sa pagkakaaresto sa mga suspek na sina Antonio Pepito, 49-anyos; at Judith Amansec, 48-anyos.

Nakuha sa dalawa ang isang kilong shabu na nagkakahalaga ng P6.8 milyon, ilang identification card, cell phone at ginamit na buy-bust money.

Katuwang ng PDEA sa operasyon ang Northern District Office, Regional Special Enforcement Team at Quezon City Police District Drug Enforcement Unit.

Mahaharap ang mga suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
