Robredo, posibleng maging asset sa war on drugs campaign – DILG
Naniniwala ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) na magiging asset si Vice President Leni Robredo sa kampanya kontra sa ilegal na droga ng administrasyon.
Ito ay kasunod ng pagtanggap ni Robredo sa alok ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte para maging pinuno ng Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD).
Sa panayam ng mga mamamahayag sa Manila City Hall, sinabi ni DILG Undersecretary at spokesman Jonathan Malaya na magiging asset si Robredo sa pagnanais na mabawasan ang demand sa ilegal na droga mula sa publiko lalo na sa mga kabataan.
Maaari kasi aniyang makapagbigay ng alternatibong istratehiya ang bise presidente sa pamamagitan ng kaniyang karanasan bilang public servant at koneksyon sa ilang organisasyon.
Katuwang din aniya rito ng DILG ang Department of Health (DOH), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
