Singer na si Leah Navarro idineklarang “persona non grata” sa General Santos City

Idineklara ng General Santos City na “persona non grata” ang singer na si Leah Navarro.

Kaugnay ito ng naging reaksyon ni Navarro sa tweet ni Atty. Theodore Te na nagpapahiwatig na tila “pagbabayad” ang naganap na malakas na lindol sa Mindanao.

Sa tweet ni Te noong October 31 kung saan tila nagtatanong ito ng: “What’s with all the earthquakes in Mindanao?” sumagot si Navarro ng “Retribution?”

Nabatid naman sa ulat ng Inquirer.net na ““unanimously approved by the council” ang pagdedeklara kay Navarro bilang “persona non grata” bagamat kailangan pa itong isapinal.

Samantala, humingi naman ng paumanhin si Navarro.

Sa kanyang Twitter post noong Lunes (Nov. 4), sinabi ni Navarro na inalis na rin niya ang nasabing post kasabay ng panawagan ng tulong para sa mga biktima ng lindol.

“I apologized and deleted my tweet, but they just can’t find in their hearts to forgive my one-word reply in the form of a question” Now they’ve twisted it into a declaration. Why not help Mindanao instead? Stop wasting time on me, I’m not a victim,” she added.

Maging ang tweet ni Te ay inalis na.
