Patay sa pamamaril ang isang opisyal ng Quezon City District Police (QCPD) sa ambush sa Quezon City Martes ng gabi.

Kinilala ang police official na si Lt. Ernesto Mendoza Jr. ng QCPD.

Ayon sa ilang saksi, binaril si Mendoza ng mga suspects na nakasakay sa motorsiklo sa Malingap Street sa Barangay Teachers Village.

Minamaneho ng biktima ang kanyang Hyundai Accent sedan nang ito ay tambangan.
