DOH kinumpirma ang ikaapat na kaso ng polio sa bansa

Kinumpirma ng Department of Health (DOH) ang ikaapat na kaso ng polio sa bansa, Martes ng gabi.

Ayon kay Health Sec. Francisco Duque III, galing sa Mindanao ang ikaapat na polio case.

Kinumpirma anya ito ng pagsusuri ng Research Institute for Tropical Medicine at ng National Institute of Infectious Diseases-Japan.

Wala nang iba pang detalye na inilabas ang DOH ukol sa panibagong kaso ng polio.

Noong Setyembre muling idineklara ang outbreak ng sakit sa Pilipinas matapos ang 19 na taon.
