Obstruction, nangungunang traffic violation ng mga bus sa Metro Manila – MMDA
Nangungung traffic violation ang obstruction sa mga bus sa Metro Manila sa 2019, ayon sa Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
Sa datos ng MMDA, nakapagtala ng 4,826 na insidente ng obstruction mula January 1 hanggang October 31.
Pumangalawa naman ang paglabag sa yellow lane na may 3,741 na insidente.
Umabot naman sa 2,301 ang disregarding traffic sign violations habang 1,369 naman ang loading and unloading violations.
Narito naman ang naitalang insidente ng iba pang paglabag:
– Open door (1,115)
– Bypassing terminal (784)
– Stalled (511)
– Reckless (171)
– OBR o excess of time limit (144)
– Bus augmentation scheme (120)
Kasunod nito, sinabi ni Roberto Valera, deputy director ng Law Enforcement Service ng Land Transportation Office (LTO), na makikipag-ugnayan sila sa MMDA para maisama sa proseso ng suspensyon ng lisensya ng mga lumabag na drayber ng bus.
