Dagdag singil sa kuryente iimbestigahan ng Kamara
Hinimok ni House Deputy Minority Leader Carlos Zarate ang liderato ng Kamara na magsagawa na ng imbestigasyon sa panibagong dagdag na singil sa kuryente.
Ayon kay Zarate ang agad na pag-schedule ng pagdinig upang mapigilan ang power rate increase at maprotektahan ang mga consumers sa mga pangaambuso ng mga power companies.
Sa ilalim ng House Resolution 441, pinaiimbestigahan nito ang pagtutulak ng National Power Corporation (NAPOCOR) ng dagdag na singil sa missionary charges.
Ang missionary charges ay resulta ng kapabayaan ng Department of Energy (DOE), NAPOC OR at Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) sa mga pinapasok na power supply contracting process na ipinapasa sa pamamagitan ng dagdag singil sa mga consumers.
Ang dagdag na singil sa kuryente ay mangangahulugan ng dagdag na P38.96 sa mga kumukunsumo ng 200kwh kada buwan, P58.44 sa kada 300 kwh at P77.92 sa mga kumukunsumo ng 400 kwh.
