Idinesenyo ang bagong branding nang mas simple at ginamitan ng custom typography at capitalization.
Layon ng mas simpleng company logo na madali itong matukoy mula sa kanilang Facebook app.
“The new branding was designed for clarity, and uses custom typography and capitalization to create visual distinction between the company and app,” dagdag ng Facebook.
Naniniwala ang Facebook Inc. na paraan ito para mas maayos na komunikasyon ukol sa kanilang ownership structure sa mga tao at negosyo na gumagamit ng kanilang mga serbisyo.
“This brand change is a way to better communicate our ownership structure to the people and businesses who use our services to connect, share, build community and grow their audiences,” ayon pa sa kumpanya.
Nagsimula ang Facebook Inc. sa isang single app 15 taon na ang nakalilipas.
Bukod sa Facebook app, kasama na rin sa pagmamay-ari ng kumpanya ang Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, Workplace, Portal at Calibra.
