WATCH: Nakakain ng produkto ng Mekeni na may ASF, walang dapat pangambahan – DOH, DA

Tiniyak ng Department of Agriculture (DA) at Department of Health (DOH) na walang dapat ipangamba ang publiko ukol sa mga produkto ng Mekeni Food Corporation.

Ito ay matapos lumabas na positibo sa African Swine Fever (ASF) ang Picnic Hotdog at Skinless Longganisa.

Ayon kay Health Undersecretary Eric Domingo, hindi makakaapekto sa kalusugan ng sinumang nakakain ang nasabing produkto.

Sinabi naman ni Agriculture Secretary William Dar nakipag-ugnayan na sila sa NMIS, BAI at BOC para sa maiwasang maipuslit ang karne ng baboy papasok sa bansa.
