Lorenzana pamumunuan ang pamimigay ng relief goods sa mga biktima ng lindol
Si Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana ang naatasang mamuno sa pamimigay ng tulong sa mga biktima ng lindol sa Mindanao.
Sa anunsyo ng Malakanyang araw ng Sabado, itinalaga ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea si Lorenzana na manguna sa relief efforts at tiyakin ang seguridad ng mga residente sa mga lugar na tinamaan ng magkakasunod na malakas na mga lindol.
Pinayuhan ni Medialdea ang publiko na direktang makipag-ugnayan sa Department of Defense (DND) o National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) para masiguro ang maayos na pagtulong sa mga nilindol kabilang ang pamamahagi ng relief goods at ang rescue operations.
“The public is advised to coordinate directly with the DND and/or National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) to ensure the efficient conduct of relief efforts, including the distribution of relief goods and rescue operations,” pahayag ni Medialdea.
Sa huling datos ng NDRRMC, umabot na sa 17 ang death toll at mahigit 29,000 na mga pamilya ang naapektuhan ng mga pagyanig.
