Duterte bibigyan si Robredo ng cabinet rank bilang drug czar
Nananatili ang alok ng administrasyon kay Vice President Leni Robredo na pangunahan nito ang kampanya laban sa iligal na droga.
Katunayan ay bibigyan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Robredo ng Cabinet Secretary rank kung tatanggapin nito ang alok na maging drug czar.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, ang alok na cabinet rank ay para mawala ang duda sa sinseredad ng pangulo at para matapos na ang pagiging negatibo ng oposisyon.
Bilang drug czar anya ay sasailalim sa utos at subaybay ni Robredo ang lahat ng tanggapan at ahensya ng gobyerno na nagpapatupad ng batas ukol sa bawal na gamot.
“To dispel all doubts on the sincerity of the Chief Executive’s offer, as well as to put a halt to the discordant pessimism of the opposition, the President renews his offer to the Vice President to become the anti-illegal drugs czar, with all offices, bureaus, agencies or government instrumentalities involved in the enforcement of the law on prohibited drugs placed under her command and supervision with a Cabinet Secretary portfolio, to ensure her effectiveness in combatting the drug menace,” ani Panelo.
Muling inalok ng pangulo ang bise presidente matapos sabihin ng mga kritiko na isa lamang umanong trap ang hakbang ng gobyerno.
Taliwas anya sa sinasabi ng oposisyon ay nais ng administrasyon na magtagumpay si Robredo sa pagtugon sa problema sa droga kapag ito na ang namuno sa kampanya.
