Ateneo natapos ang UAAP elims ng walang talo

Natapos ng Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) ang elimination round sa UAAP Season 82 men’s basketball tournament nang walang talo.

Nagwagi kasi ang Blue Eagles kontra sa University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons sa iskor na 86-64.

Second quarter pa lamang ng laro, umarangkada na ang Ateneo kontra sa UP.

Pinangunahan ni Ange Kouame ang Ateneo matapos makapagtala ng 20 points at 12 rebounds.

Natapos naman ang Fighting Maroons na may 9-5 win-loss record.

Natapatan ng Ateneo ang elimination-phase sweep ng koponan ng UP taong 2007.

Dahil dito, deretso na sa Finals ang Ateneo.

Magtatapat naman ang Far Eastern University (FEU) at University of Santo Tomas (UST) para malaman kung sino ang makakaharap ng UP na may twice-to-beat advantage.

Magsisimula ang best-of-three finals sa November 16.
