CBCP nanawagan ng dasal kasunod ng malakas na lindol sa Mindanao
Humiling ng dasal ang Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) para sa mga biktima ng malakas na lindol na tumama sa ilang bahagi ng Mindanao Martes ng umaga.
Partikular na nanawagan ng dasal si CBCP President at Davao Archbishop Romulo Valles para sa mga mamamayan sa Diocese of Kidapawan, Archdiocese of Cotabato, Diocese of Marbel, Diocese of Digos, Archdiocese of Davao, Diocese of Tagum at Diocese of Mati.
Ito ay kasunod ng magnitude 6.6 na lindol na ang episentro ay sa Tulunan, Cotabato.
Dasal ng arsobispo sa Diyos na manaig ang pagiging kalmado at alerto ng publiko.
Ipanalangin din anya na magpatuloy ang pagtulong at pagbabantay sa kapwa sa gitna ng takot at pangamba kasunod ng pagyanig.
“Please pray to the Lord that we may remain calm and alert. And pray also that we will continue to care and be watchful and concerned for each other during this time of fear and anxiety,” ani Valles.
Ayon kay Archbishop Valles, nang mangyari ang lindol ay naglabasan ang mga tao mula sa mga gusali at bahay gayundin silang mga nasa Archbishop Residence sa Davao City.
Binanggit ng CBCP president na matindi ang pinsala sa isang bago at modernong gusali sa Davao City at dalawa ang naiulat na namatay sa Koronadal City sa South Cotabato at Magsaysay sa Davao del Sur.
