Ipinatupad ni Philippine National Police (PNP) officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa ang inilabas na suspension order ng Office of the Ombudsman laban kay Northern Mindanao Police director Brig. Gen. Rafael Santiago.

Ayon kay Gamboa, nakapanghihinayang dahil aktibo sa serbisyo si Santiago.

Ngunit, sinabi nito na kailangang sundin ang desisyon ng Ombudsman.

Parehong kabilang sina Gamboa at Santiago sa Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Sinagtala Class of 1986 kasama si dating PNP chief Gen. Oscar Albayalde.
