Malacanang umaasa na hihina na ang terorismo sa pagkamatay ng lider ng ISIS
Puspusan pa rin ang pamahalaan ng Pilipinas sa paglaban sa terorismo sa bansa.
Ito ay kahit na napatay na ng US military ang leader ng isis na si Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi sa Northwest Syria.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, good news ang pagkapatay kay Al-Baghdadi lalo na para sa mga bansang na terrorized na ng isis.
Maari kasi aniyang tabangan na o mawalan na ng gana ang mga terorista dahil napatay na ang kanilang lider.
Pero ayon kay Panelo, kahit na napatay na si Al-Baghdadi hindi naman ito na nangangahulugan na mabubuwag na ang teroristang grupo.
Ito aniya ang dahilan kung kaya patuloy ang pagbabantay ng mga otoridad lalo na sa Mindanao region na ayon kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ay napasok na ng ISIS.
“Well, as I said, the death of the leaders doesn’t mean the extinction of that group. But then, it may also cause discouragement on the part of the terrorist groups. But as far as we are concerned, whether the leader dies or not, we will secure that part of our country from them”, dagdag pa ni Panelo.
