UP, nasungkit ang huling pwesto sa Final Four
Nasungkit ng University of the Philippines (UP) ang huling pwesto sa Final Four para sa UAAP Season 82 men’s basketball tournament, Linggo ng hapon.
Natalo kasi ng Fighting Maroons ang De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers sa iskor na 71-68.
Mula sa iskor na 62-66, umarangkada sa laro ang UP sa huling 2:54 ng laro dahilan para makaabante sa La Salle.
Nakapagtala si Bright Akhuetie ng 17 points habang si Kobe Paras naman ay 10 points kasama ang dunk nito sa huling 54 segundo ng laro.
Dahil dito, nakuha ng UP ang twice-to-beat advantage sa basketball tournament katulad ng Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) Blue Eagles.
Natapos ng UP ang elimination round nang mayroong 9-4 win-loss record.
