Pilipinas, China lumagda sa 6 bilateral accords

Lumagda ang Pilipinas at China araw ng Huwebes sa anim na bilateral accords para sa mga proyekto sa ilalim ng ‘Build, Build, Build’ program ng aministrasyong Duterte at iba pang trade cooperations.

Ayon sa pahayag ng Department of Finance, ang paglagda at palitan ng bilateral documents ay pinangunahan nina Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III at Chinese Vice Premier Hu Chunhua sa Bureau of the Treasury headquarters sa Intramuros, Maynila.

Kabilang sa mga nilagdaan ay ang cooperation agreements para sa feasibility studies para sa Davao City expressway at Panay-Guimaras-Negros Bridge na popondohan ng China.

Isang loan agreement din para sa Marawi City ang nalagdaan para sa implementasyon ng mga proyekto para sa Marawi Sports Complex at Central Market.

Nagkasundo rin ang China at Pilipinas para sa ‘protocol on phytosanitary requirements’ para sa pagluluwas ng avocado ng Philippines sa China.

Samantala, naselyuhan din ang Philippine Radio Equipment Project na layong magbigay ng donasyong broadcast equipment sa Philippine Broadcasting Service.

Magbibigay din ang China ng sets ng Mobile Container/ Vehicle Inspection System at dalawang set ng CT Scan Inspection System sa Bureau of Customs

Umaasa si Dominguez sa kapit-kamay na pagtutulungan ng Pilipinas at China na magdudulot ng magandang resulta para sa dalawang bansa.

“We very much look forward to working hand in hand with you in pursuing mutually beneficial results for both our countries,” ani Dominguez.
