Ayon kay Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC) president Bobby Bontia, layon ng toll increase na mapaganda at mamintena ang expressway at maiwasan ang deterioration.
Simula kahapon, nadagdagan na ng P1, P2, at P3 ang toll rates para sa vehicle class 1, 2 at 3 sa 7-kilometer Cavite Segment 1.
Dahil dito, pumalo na ang toll rates sa P25, P50 at P75 mula sa dating P24 sa class 1 vehicle, P48 sa class 2 at P72 sa class 3.
