P100M inilaan ng DOLE para sa trabaho ng mga dating Moro rebels
Paunang P100 milyon ang inilaan ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) bilang emergency employment fund para sa mga dating miyembro ng MILF.
Kasunod ito nang pakikipagkasundo ng DOLE sa Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) para mapalawig ang Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Program (DILEEP) ng kagawaran na layon matulungan ang 7,000 decommissioned MILF combatants.
Sinabi ni Labor Sec. Silvestro Bello III na ang pondo ay para sa pagtulong sa mga dating rebeldeng Moro para makapag-adjust sa buhay sibilyan.
Dagdag pa ni Bello, magbibigay din ng mga trabaho at pagkakakitaan sa anim na kampo ng MILF.
Sa kasunduan tutulong ang DOLE sa OPAPP sa pagpapatupad ng Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB) Normalization Program sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng trabaho sa ilalim ng TUPAD program.
