Pinangunahan ni Christian Standhardinger ang panalo ng NorthPort laban sa dati nitong team na San Miguel sa PBA Governors’ Cup sa score na 127-119.

Tumulong kay Standhardinger ang mga bagong teammates na sina Michael Qualls, Jervy Cruz, Kevin Ferrer at Nico Elorde.

Ito ang ikatlong sunod na panalo ng Batang Pier matapos ang pitong laro habang ang San Miguel ay nalasap ang ikalawang pagkatalo.

Masaya si NorthPort coach Pido Jarencio na kasama sila “magic circle” ng walong koponan na sasabak sa playoffs.

Sa kabila ng nagawang 57 points ni San Miguel import Dez Wells ay kinapos itong ipasok ang isang crucial shot na nagbigay daan sa 10-2 run ng NorthPort.
