Canonical Coronation ng imahen ng OL of Lourdes itinakda sa May 2, 2020
Inanunsyo na ang petsa ng Coronacion Canonical ng imahen ng Our Lady of Lourdes sa Quezon City.
Batay sa Facebook post ng National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes araw ng Miyerkules, napagdesisyunan ng Capuchin Province of the Philippines na idaos ang koronasyon sa May 2, 2020, ganap na alas-9:30 ng umaga.
“The Capuchin Province of the Philippines during their Council meeting held on 22nd October 2019, has decided that the Canonical Coronation will be on 2nd May 2020 at 9:30 am,” ayon sa post.
Noong Setyembre inaprubahan ni Pope Francis sa pamamagitan ng Congregation for Divine Worship and Discipline of Sacraments ang Canonical Coronation ng imahen.
Ang Canonical o Pontifical Coronation, ang pinakamataas na pagkilala na iginagawad ng Santo Papa sa isang imahen ng Birheng Maria.
Ibinibigay ito dahil sa sidhi ng debosyon ng mga mananampalataya.
Ang Our Lady of Lourdes sa Quezon City ay ang ika-43 na imahen ng Birheng Maria na gagawaran ng Canonical Coronation sa Pilipinas.
