Mahigit 50,000 na mga bata nabigyan ng polio vaccine ng Philippine Red Cross

Tumutulong ang mga tauhan at volunteer ng Philippine Red Cross (PRC) sa Department of Health (DOH) sa malawakang immunization program para sa polio.

Ayon kay Red Cross chairman, Senator Richard Gordon, as of Oct. 21 ng gabi, umabot na sa 51,118 na mga bata ang napagkalooban ng polio vaccine ng red cross.

Magpapatuloy pa ang pagbabakuna ng red cross sa mga bata sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa.

Layunin aniya nitong masawata ang paglaganap ng sakit na polio at maibalik din ang tiwala ng publiko sa immunization program ng DOH.
