Malakanyang hindi nababahala sa planong pagsasampa ng NUPL ng Crimes Against Humanity sa UN laban kay Pangulong Duterte

Binalewala lamang ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang banta ng National Union of People’s Lawyers na sasampahan ng kasong Crimes Against Humanity sa United Nations si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte oras na bumaba sa kanyang pwesto sa 2022.

Iginigiit ng NUPL na responsible si Pangulong Duterte sa extrajudicial killings sa bansa at iba’t ibang kaso ng human rights violations dahil sa madugong kampanya kontra sa illegal na droga.

Paliwanag ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, malayang bansa ang Pilipinas at maaaring magsampa ng kaso ang sinoman laban kay Pangulong Duterte o sinumang indibidwal na sa tingin nila ay lumalabag sa batas.

Hahayaan na lamang aniya ng palasyo ang korte na magpasya kung balido ang reklamong ihahain laban sa pangulo.

Ayon kay Panelo, hindi nababahala ang pangulo sa anomang kaso.

Ang tangi aniyang ikinababahala ng pangulo ay ang paghihirap ng taong bayan kung kaya pursigido itong magtrabaho para mabigyan ng komportableng pamumuhay ang bawat Filipino.

Ani Panelo, ” It’s a free country; everyone is entitled to file any case against whom so they think that has violated the law and let the courts decide the validity of such complaints. The only worry that the President has is the sufferings of the people that’s why he does a lot of things to make lives comfortable for them.”
