Pagbabawal na ipalabas ang “Abominable” sa Pilipinas, suportado ng Palasyo

Suportado ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang hakbang ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na ipagbawal na ipalabas sa mga sinehan sa bansa ang pelikulang “Abominable.”

Sa panayam ng Radyo Inquirer, sinabi ni Presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo na anumang hakbang ng DFA ay susundin ng Palasyo.

Sa naturang pelikula, ipinalalabas ang nine dash claim ng China sa South China Sea bagay na pinasisinungalingan ng Permanent Court of Arbitration.

Ayon kay Panelo, hindi niya mabatid kung ano ang magiging epekto nito sa magandang relasyon ngayon ng China at Pilipinas.

Una nang ipinagbawal ni Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) chairperson Rachel Arenas ang pagpapalabas ng pelikula simula noong October 15, 2019.
