Planong lagyan ng Department of Tourism (DOT) ng free Wi-fi service ang ilang sikat na parke o pasyalan sa lungsod ng Manila tulad ng Rizal Park at Intramuros.
Nilagdaan ang kasunduan ng DOT at ng Smart Communications Inc. para sa nasabing proyekto.
Kasama sa malalagyan ng free Wi-fi service ang Plaza Dilao, Casa Manila, Museo de Intramuros, Plaza Roma, Fort Santiago at Luneta promenade area.
Nilagdaan ang nasabing kasuduan sa pangunguna ni Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat.
Kasama rin sina National Parks Development Committee executive director Cecille Romero at Intramuros Administration chief Guiller Asido.
Lumagda rin si Smart President and chief revenue officer Alfredo Panlilio at PLDT Enterprise head Juan Victor Hernandez sa kasunduan.
