Mga pasilidad ng NGCP sa Mindanao hindi napinsala ng malakas na lindol

Tuloy-tuloy ang supply ng kuryente ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) sa Mindanao matapos ang magnitude 6.3 na lindol sa Tulunan, North Cotabato noong Miyerkules ng gabi.

Ayon sa pamunuan ng NGCP, nananatiling buo ang power transmission backbone sa buong Mindanao

Tiniyak ng NGCP na walang nasirang transmission facilities at high voltage equipment sa South at North Cotabato at kahit sa mga karatig na lugar na inabot ng lindol.

Agad naman nagpadala ang NGCP ng line personnel para ayusin ang nasirang pasilidad sa Davao-Digos line na nagsu-supply ng kuryerte sa mga customer ng Davao del Sur Electric Cooperative (DASURECO.)

Katulad ng pahayag ng Department of Energy (DOE), tiniyak ng NGCP na maaayos ang generation ng sub-transmission lines at distribution lines na pagmamay-ari ng nasabing electric cooperative.
