Tumakas sa bilangguan ang isang miyembro ng New People’s Army na naaresto ng mga otoridad noon lamang buwan ng Marso.
Si Aljun Cardenas, 18 anyos ay tumakas mula sa maximum detention cell ng Allen sub-provincial jail sa Northern Samar.
Ayon sa inisyal na imbestigasyon, gumapang umano is Cardenas paakyat ng water tank na katabi ng concrete fence sa likod ng bilangguan.
Nagtungo naman agad sa kalapit na police station ang dalawang jail guards poara humingi ng tulong sa mga pulis.
Sa ngayon ay nagsasagawa na ng hot pursuit operation kay Cardenas.
Si Cardenas ay nahaharap sa kasong robbery with homicide at illegal possession of firearms.
