Polio vaccination sa ilang bahagi ng Mindanao inihinto ng DOH dahil sa lindol

Pansamantalang inihinto ng Department of Health (DOH) ang kanilang anti polio vaccination campaign sa ilang lugar sa Mindanao dahil sa naganap na lindol.

Sinabi ni Health Sec. Francisco Duque III, itutuloy nila ang pagpapabakuna sa mga bata kapag natiyak na ang kaligtasan sa mga lugar na niyanig ng lindol.

Aniya prayoridad nila ang kaligtasan ng kanilang mga tauhan at volunteers na nagbabalkuna sa mga bata.

Magugunita na nitong Lunes lang nang sinimulan ng DOH ang “Sabayang Patak Kontra Polio” sa buong bansa.

Sinabi pa ni Duque maging sa mga pribadong ospital ay may libreng oral anti polio vaccine bukod sa mga health centers at government hospitals.
